Getting my spider photos together
I was recently talking with my intrepid photographer friend, Doug Steley. We were making sure we both knew where the photos were etc for putting together this web site. He mentioned in passing (I mean while we were talking about other things, not “with his dying breath”) - and this is a direct quote here:
“I still wake with nightmares years afterwards.”

In case you were wondering…I know I was. For those of you viewing this blog online in its full graphical Solipsis-theme glory and not in an RSS reader or whatever, the quote from Doug has the letters “OTE” written next to it, positioned sideways and running down the left hand side, sideways. This had me scratching my head for a bit. It turns out that if Doug had been a bit more verbose in his chicken-liveredness, there would have been enough text to reveal the missing “QU”, thus rendering the full word “QUOTE”, next to the ah, quote.
